Aujourd’hui le mot du jour est l’expression “ne pas avoir les pieds sur terre”  (to live in cloud-cuckoo land). In slang we also use the verbal phrase “planer complètement“.

Exemple 1: Rien n’a changé. Solène n’a pas les pieds sur terre. Nothing has changed. Solène lives in in cloud-cuckoo land.

Exemple 2: Quelle décision stupide ! Tu planes complètement ! What a stupid decision! You live in in cloud-cuckoo land!
