Aujourd’hui il s’agit d’un verbe familier très employé par les jeunes : piger. Il veut dire comprendre (to understand).

Exemple 1 : Il lui a expliqué la règle quatre fois mais elle a toujours pas* pigé. He explained the rule to her four times but she still didn’t get it.

Exemple 2 :  Je pige rien* à son discours ! I don’t get a word of his/her speech!

* The ne of ne…pas et ne…rien has been voluntary omitted because ne is not used by young people (or older!) in spoken French.
