Aujourd’hui il s’agit du verbe enfiler (un vêtement) – to slip on/to put on (a garment).

Exemple 1 : Elle était en retard pour son rendez-vous. Il pleuvait abondamment maintenant. Elle a mis ses chaussures et a enfilé son imperméable. She was late for her appointment. It was raining heavily now. She put her shoes on and slipped on her raincoat. 

Exemple 2 : Si vous avez froid, pourquoi ne pas enfiler un pull plutôt que d’augmenter le chauffage ? If you are cold why don’t you slip on a jumper rather than turning the heating up?
