Nous commençons cette semaine avec l’adjectif intenable (unbearable, unsustainable). On n’emploi aussi cet adjectif dans le language familier lorsque l’on parle d’un enfant qui a un très mauvais comportement (unruly, disruptive) ou qui est très impatient (excited, hyper).

Exemple 1 : Ce rythme de vie est bien évidemment intenable. This pace of life is unsustainably.

Exemple 2 : L’ambiance pendant la réunion était intenable. The atmosphere during the meeting was unbearable.

Exemple 3 : Les enfants sont intenables à l’approche de Noël. Children are truly excited in the days leading to Christmas.

Exemple 4 : Elise a été intenable pendant toute visite du musée. Elise was disruptive for the whole duration of the visit at the museum.
