Aujourd’hui il s’agit du nom une louche (a ladle) et de l’adjectif louche (suspicious, dodgy, shady, fishy).

Exemple 1 : Il serait plus facile d’utiliser une louche pour verser la soupe dans les bols. It would be easier to use a ladle to pour the soup into the bowls.

Exemple 2 : Son excuse me paraît trop louche. I find his/her excuse too fishy.

Exemple 3 : Les ados ont rapporté à la police la présence d’un homme louche dans le parc. The teenagers reported a suspicious man in the park to the police.
