Bonjour,

Aujourd’hui nous avons refouler quelqu’un (to push someone back; to drive back someone; to turn away someone) et refouler un sentiment (to repress a feeling).

Alex got turned away at the door of the conference room.

This morning the police drove back about ten illegal immigrants to the border.

Everyone knows that Adrienne always represses her feelings of anger.

Bonne journée !

Nora
