Le Mot du Jour – se ressaisir

Bonjour,

Cette semaine se termine avec le verbe pronominal se ressaisir (to get your act together, to get a grip; to recover; to regain control, to regain one’s composure).

Exemple 1 : Elle s’est ressaisit rapidement. She regained her composure rapidly.

Exemple 2 : Ressaisis-toi avant qu’il soit trop tard ! Get your act together before it’s too late!

Exemple 3 : Certains joueurs doivent se ressaisir s’ils ne veulent pas que leur équipe perde le match. Some players must pull themselves together if they don’t want their team to lose the game.

Exemple 4 : Les marchés financiers se ressaisissent toujours. Financial markets always recover.

Bonne journée et bon weekend !

Nora
