La Grammaire En Clair, Paul Rogers (Author), Jeremy Long (Author)

Although quite old now, this book is really good at explaining French Grammar through cartoons. It has exercises. The keys to the exercises come in a booklet that is sometimes sold separately. The pages are in black and white and the layout is dense, so it may not be to everyone’s taste.

Kiffe Kiffe demain, Faïza Guène

This is kiff-kiff-demainthe first novel by the writer and film director Faïza Guène. Daughter of north African immigrants she wrote the book at the age of 19. This is pleasant story with some French slang.

Le Coupeur De Mots, Hans Joachim Schadlich

A nice little story that illustrates what happens when grammar is not applied !
